"So, what did you think?" David asked, looking over at Stephen who sat on his bed, gripping his around the edge of the bed.
"Oh, you can't end there, that's just cruel!" Stephen called out.
"Oh yes I can end there, besides, I need to go over the first two chapters before I read you the third one." David said, again returning the papers that were his story to his bag, and putting his reading glasses back into their case.
"But, you can't leave the story there, it's will drive me nuts until I find out what happened to them!" Stephen said, disappointed.

"But, Uncle David, I want to hear more!" Stephen said, pleadingly.
"And you will, just not today" David replied, stuffing his story back into his briefcase.

David was a short man, he wore a brown jacket and undershirt with brown suit pants. He had grey hair which reflected his old age, and a cheerful face, which, although showed it's years, retained a childish energy to it.
David was holding a briefcase in one hand and a cane in the other, as he made his way purposefully down the busy streets. He smiled as people passed him, for he was in a good mood, having finished his first draft of a story he'd been working on for quite some time.
